Traffic Shaper

Traffic Shaper feature (aka Speed Control) allows to setup a maximum traffic speed in kilobytes/sec for any filter. During building the filterset with traffic shaper feature, take into account the following details:

  • Traffic Capture must be run in Active Capture Mode or in Strict Capture Mode.
  • Network packet should match at least one rule (except rule with the action "Deny") listed in the filter.
  • If network packet matches to more than one filter with traffic shaper option enabled, the minimum speed will be selected.
